1. What do you love most about LASE? I love being able to provide students the support they need in a small environment. I have research based materials and small group sizes which allow students to make great progress in areas that have been typically difficult for them.
2. What is something you have learned from working at LASE, or from a student? I am reminded daily by students that showing up, showing interest in each student, and putting forth my best effort leads to positive outcomes for both students and staff members.
3. Fun fact about you that people might not know. Despite living in St. Louis, I am a beach girl. There are very few vacations that my son and I go on that don't involve a beach or swimming/boating in a large body of water.
4. What is your favorite snack and drink during the day? I have never been a coffee or tea drinker, so my caffeine of choice has been Diet Dr. Pepper since college. I personally think ice cream should be its own food group--it's amazing--don't even care what flavor.
5. If you could describe your role at LASE in 3 words, what would they be? Rewarding--never boring;)

Finance Manager
LASE Specialized Education
⭐️1. What do you love most about LASE? That it is a culture of care. LASE is where empathy matters-not just for the students, but also among our supportive and compassionate staff.
⭐️2. What is something you have learned from working at LASE, or from a student? That progress looks different for everyone. Success isn't always big or obvious. Sometimes it's a small breakthrough, a moment of connection, or a step forward that we as a staff celebrate together as a win for the team!
⭐️3. Fun fact about you that people might not know. Well, the staff at LASE know this about me, but not everyone - I sing and act in community theatre productions in and around St. Louis.
⭐️4. What is your favorite snack and drink during the day? I usually go for a crunchy, salty snack like chips or popcorn. My drink is a regular Coke or Pepsi (and I LOVE to add a lime if I have one.)
⭐️5. If you could describe your role at LASE in 3 words, what would they be? I'm the FFM - Fantastic Finance Manager! Or it could be fanatical, or flighty, or fruity, depending on who you ask.
