We have lost another Cole School alumni.

Attended for the first time in several years THE 8TH GRADE PROMOTION at Pamoja @ Cole. We handed out stipends to STUDENTS IDENTIFIED by their teachers as the MOST DESERVING (3 Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, Citizenship, and Most Improved).

***Saturday June 6th is the 1st ANNIVERSARY OF RALPH HARVEY'S TRANSITION. He was a COLE ALUMNI ('70) & VASHON ALUMNI ('74); one of the COLE ALUMNI COMMITTEE FOUNDERS; and a DEAR FRIEND.
***As a TRIBUTE TO HIM we decided to have a BALLOON RELEASE in Turner Park on CD Banks & Sarah (meet @ 11:45am/ release @ 12:00pm); THEN LET'S TOAST IT UP TO A LIFE WELL LIVED around 12:30pm with lunch and/or drinks (on you) at the Firehouse Restaurant & Bar one of the BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES THAT Ralph believed in supporting💝💖💕

ps: •We will have a few balloons but are asking those who can to bring a balloon/s🎈

We have lost another Cole School Alumni. Alex was one of the brothers of "TWO OF OUR MOST DEDICATED" Cole School Alumni Committee Members Daniel & Tommie Mccowan (both of whom preceded him in death).

The Jones family lived on Westbell east of Sarah.

Gwendolyn didn't attend Cole but her brothers did, Larry & Ulysses (AKA Teapot). Their family home was in the 3900 block of Enright.
