How is it already mid-August?? That really snuck up on us. Listen, it doesn’t really affect our programming this week. It’s just the year is going by kind of quickly, ok?

That means that there are only so many more improv shows in 2026 and we’d love to see you at one.

There’s a lot of cool and different stuff to choose from this week including a JAM where you can even try it if you want to. No pressure. But also it’ll be fun. But no pressure. You also might make friends. But no pressure.

We’ve got some new shows for you this week, so take a look and see what is speaking to you!

Are you feeling like a gremlin? Like you need a dose of tv? A little business, but also a little party? Maybe you feel like you need a good book read to you? Or to get the gang all back together?

Whatever your mood this week, bring it to us and we will feed you, hydrate you, and make you forget your troubles for approximately 105 minutes at a time. Thank you.

BIG NIGHT AND BIG WEEK AT THE IMPROV SHOP!

Every eight weeks there is a new graduating class at the Improv Shop. And tonight is that night! Students have been going through our program for about a year and tonight will be their last showcase show followed by a graduation ceremony!

That will be followed by a very special Leeker Takes You To: at 9 PM!!

This week also features the return of AmITheAsshole? - An Improv Show, a BLANK AND ANDY, a brand new Manifesto show, base.reality.check, The Merry-Go-Round, The Menagerie, and a fun Musical Shortform Jamboree! Also… more improv!

YYYYYYEAAAAHHHH this week we’ve got musicals and freestyle rap and stripping and Florida men and cagematch and student shows and menagerie and asterisk and merry-go-round and a debut of brand new POC teams!!

So come beat the heat in our moderately cooled building!

No, we’re not rebranding to be a motion capture studio. The floor just needed a little love, so we laid down a fresh coat of paint!

Tonight is the last night to catch shows for a whole WEEK at the Improv Shop! But… it’s a really great lineup! Two sets of student shows followed by an American Idol episode of !!

We also have Monday bar and kitchen specials like $7 chicken fried rice and $7 burger and fries to satiate you while you absorb live comedy.

After that our staff, faculty, and teachers are going to take the weekend off! We hope you find something fun and safe to do.
