TOMORROW! Church Picnic at Spanish Lake Park, St. Vrain Shelter.

Join us for worship in the park at 10:30am followed by tons of fun! Bingo, yard games, and of course the 3-person water balloon sling-shot!

Hot dogs, chips, and soda provided or feel free to bring your own lunch.

If you've been following along our page, you know that we've been recognizing outstanding teachers in the St. Louis area through our Adopt-A-Teacher program, in partnership with Lutheran Elementary School Association (LESA).

Friday afternoon, 5/16/2025, a tornado ripped through the heart of St. Louis causing damage to over 5,000 structures and claiming 5 lives. Countless people have lost homes and businesses. People have lost their churches. I ask that you please continue to pray for peace and comfort in the face of such a terrible disaster.

People have asked how they can help with the recovery efforts. I had the chance today to briefly speak with city officials and various other leaders in the City of St. Louis. They are urging all individuals who want to volunteer their time for clean up and recovery to please sigh up through the United Way. I have included a link below. Please do not simply "show up" because coordination of volunteers needs to happen for the safety and effectiveness of individuals.

Please pray for our city, St. Louis. Friday afternoon a tornado ripped through the heart of St. Louis. At this time 5 lives were lost in this storm. Countless people have lost homes and businesses. People have lost their churches. With such chaos and uncertainty, please pray for peace and comfort in the face of such a terrible disaster.

Heavenly Father,
We ask that You bring peace to those in the midst of destruction. Watch over first responders, volunteers, and all who are offering help. Strengthen the Church that we may love our neighbors well and serve with kindness all who have been impacted; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
