Today was the first Chapel of the year! Mr. Ben played “ I’ve got Joy down in my heart” and “Thank you Lord for making me.” Ms. Amanda talked about how God created us and how we are all special. We ended chapel by singing our Bible verse song “ I am fearfully and wonderfully made”. Each child got a Jesus that they got to put on their backpack to remind them that God created us, He loves us, and He is with us wherever we go. Can’t wait do it again tomorrow!

The summer our teachers engaged in training on Letter Tray Activities. Letter Tray Activities use what students are interested in to get them excited about letters and sounds. They are intentionally planned activities that are hands-on, multi sensory, and FUN! Students have the opportunity to build the letter, learn how the letter is formed, hear the letter and sound, match the letters, practice writing the letter, and so much more.
