With nearly a decade performing with St. Louis Ballet and over 10 years of teaching experience, Colin brings incredible artistry, expertise, and passion to every class. We’re so lucky to have him sharing his knowledge with our dancers!

We’re excited to welcome Carly Ross to the SLAD faculty for the 2026–2027 season! ✨

Carly brings experience as a performer, educator, choreographer, and adjudicator. This season, she’ll also be joining the Saint Louis Dance Theatre Trainee Program.

Carly is passionate about creating a supportive, engaging environment where dancers can learn and grow, and we’re so excited to have her at SLAD! 💙

We’re excited to welcome back .spectre for her second year at St. Louis Academy of Dance! A passionate dancer, choreographer, and educator, Sophia inspires students through her dedication to accessibility in the arts while sharing her expertise in ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary dance.

Miss Emily has been dancing through the walls of SLAD since the age of 3. Now one of her greatest joys is filling these studio walls with her high energy, athletic modern classes.

Her passion is to always inspire our dancers - whether in class, during rehearsals, by networking with renowned artists from every corner of the US, or guiding dancers and families in their post SLAD journeys, Miss Emily puts her whole heart into all she does.

The countdown is on, our 2026-2027 dance season is just a few weeks away! We’re kicking off faculty introductions with our fearless leader, Miss Kacy.

22 years ago, Ms Kacy signed the lease on St Louis Academy of Dance at 9310 Olive and the rest is history. For over 35 years Kacy has been dancing, teaching and leading inside the walls of SLAD. From her PreDance classes to her advanced jazz, Kacy brings passion, power and so much thoughtfulness to all of her lessons.
