Know your ballot - Amendment 4 is an attempt to take power from the people and give it to politicians.

Since 2020, 27 states have banned transgender youth from playing school sports. Many of these bans allow for invasive forms of s*x testing putting all female student-athletes at risk and emboldening intrusive challenges to student-athletes' s*x. These bans do nothing but harm women's sports and the kids that dream to participate.

In a historic victory, the Supreme Court ruled in our favor and struck down President Trump’s executive order attacking birthright citizenship.

This decision is a victory for families across the country and for every person who believes in the promises of our democracy. It proves unequivocally that the president does not decide who is protected by the constitution and its guarantee of birthright citizenship.

“This monumental win for reproductive freedom and abortion access is possible only because of the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment that Missouri voters passed in 2024,” said Gillian Wilcox, director of litigation at the ACLU of Missouri. “Today’s decision is a reminder that politicians are trying to strip us of our right to reproductive freedom, and Missourians must reject Amendment 3 at the ballot this November or we could lose the access we gained today.”

Two months after the Civil War officially ended, historians tell us Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas, on June 19, 1865, to tell more than 250,000 enslaved people that they were free.

Each year, we celebrate Juneteenth to commemorate the 1865 emancipation of enslaved Black people in Galveston, Texas.

We honor Juneteenth by continuing to fight for Black liberation.

In a big win, medication abortion can be provided in Missouri once again! 🎉

Today, the Jackson County Circuit Court made it clear: abortion restrictions are unconstitutional in the state of Missouri. And for the first time since 2018, medication abortion will be available for patients.

The Jackson County Circuit Court’s order ruled against several state abortion bans, including the restrictions that effectively banned medication abortion in Missouri. The order found that the restrictions were unconstitutional and that they discriminated against abortion care providers, clearing the way for procedural abortion to continue and medication abortion to resume.

Missouri patients can continue to see Planned Parenthood for procedural abortion at health centers in St. Louis, Kansas City and Columbia, and medication abortion will be available in St. Louis and Kansas City starting Monday.
