The first day of classes have officially started! We’re excited to have our students in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training back on campus and ready for another great year of learning, growing, and making an impact!

First-year students are getting settled into their first (of five!) clinical experiences! Dr. Tim Howell visited some of them this week to see how they're doing. We're grateful for the preceptors who partner with us to create these exceptional learning experiences.

After wrapping up a demanding summer of gross anatomy and principles of athletic training, the final piece of preparation is equipping our PY1 students with fully-stocked Nexus Sports Medicine medical kits (🚨new partnership alert!🚨) and fresh SLU Athletic Training Program Nike polos. They now have the tools they need to begin their next two years of clinical experiences!

🚨Now accepting post-baccalaureate applications for Summer 2027!

Apply by November 15 for priority admission consideration. Final application deadline is April 1. You can submit your application through ATCAS or directly via SLU.
