Sat. September 19: Jack Hancher - Guitarist - Join us for our 2026-27 season opener UK classical guitarist Jack Hancher, on the release of his debut album of music by English composers The Memory Garden. Jack will be making his St. Louis debut.
Sat. October 17: Patterson/Sutton Duo - Praised by BBC Music Magazine for their “beguiling” sound, cellist Dr. Kimberly Patterson and guitarist Dr. Patrick Sutton have championed the expansion of guitar and cello repertoire.
Mon. November 9: Raphael Feuillatre - SLCG welcomes back the phenomenal French guitarist, hailed as the new face of classical guitar worldwide. Expect a concert of dazzling virtuosity and rich repertoire!

Next Saturday 🎶 - Two opportunities to hear a wonderful concert of music performed by the Chimera Quartet! Formed in 2022, Chimera Quartet consists of Jakob Giles (former Childbloom guitar student), Max Greenwald, Joey Piellucci, and Ascher Taylor-Schroeder.
- Saturday, August 8, at 3:00pm-4:00pm at Trinity Lutheran ELCA - Kirkwood, MO
- Saturday, August 8, at 7:00pm-8:00pm at Celebration Church - St. Peters, MO
Both concerts are free will pay-at-the-door event, with all proceeds going towards the Quartet. We hope you will join us and Childbloom Guitar Program of St. Charles County!
Chimera Quartet performs a wide variety of repertoire, especially new music. The group collaborated with composer Isaac R. Smith to workshop and premiere his piece Same or Different in 2023. They have also done Kentucky premieres of Modinha e Lundus and Music of The People by Joao Luiz and Childhood and Wrecked by Thomas Flippin. Recent engagements have included the 2023 & 2024 University of Louisville Guitar Festival, The University of Buffalo International Guitar Research Conference, Murray State University, and Eastern Kentucky University. They are currently focusing on works by living composers and seeking new collaborations.

Guitar Horizons programming presents high-quality, classical guitar education in St. Louis schools that need it most. This past April, over 65 guitar students from across the region performed on stage together as a guitar orchestra and in small ensembles, a wondrous sight to see!
