Guitar Horizons programming presents high-quality, classical guitar education in St. Louis schools that need it most. This past April, over 65 guitar students from across the region performed on stage together at All-Metro Guitar Day at the Touhill, a wondrous sight to see! 🙌

The most recent Hope Creates Make Your M.A.R.C. cohort of veterans performed with and presented their hand-painted guitars this past Saturday, with guitar instruction by SLCG teaching artist Shuqing Ma! Congratulations to all that participated! 👏

Veteran artists in recovery with the Hopes Creates program shared their creativity and resiliency through original artwork, spoken word, and a live performance at the Make Your M.A.R.C.® Veteran Concert & Exhibition.

Marton L. Carroll Guitar Grant applications are due at the end of the month! Dedicated classical guitar students ages 16-23 in the midwest region qualify to apply for a fully-funded grant to own a new guitar, hand-built by luthier Keith Adams.

Summer is off to a splendid start! Students at Larimore Elementary School, with help from their teachers Ms Larissa Young and Shuqing Ma, built an electric guitar and presented it to Brian! An awesome STEAM project that also is a playable piece of art. Thank you, Larimore Lions! 🎸
Last Saturday, we hosted a donor appreciation event, with performances by local classical guitarist Kirk Hanser and Will Carson, a former student of both Kirk and Brian and current student at Berklee School of Music. Thank you to all of our loyal supporters for attending and for all that you do!
