Reading development is about more than just skills. It can also be emotional. ❤️🩹
In an article for Reading Research Quarterly, a team of researchers found that children with stronger early reading fluency experienced lower reading anxiety later on, while reading anxiety was linked to less reading engagement over time.
The team includes researchers from Australian Catholic University (ACU), University of Jyväskylä - Jyväskylän yliopisto, Macquarie University, Universitetet i Oslo (UiO), and Universitetet i Stavanger.
