The survey team has boarded. We are delayed due to a medical issue after we boarded and are waiting for the clear to departure.

As you wake this morning at home…please cover us in prayer for safe travels. We hope to be on the ground by 2:30 pm this afternoon…hopefully no more than an hour delayed.

Pray us home.

The survey team in Romania has started the long route home. It will take two days with layovers. We are at the airport in Romania for our first leg to Germany. 🇩🇪

It’s hard to put into words this week. This week was much more intensive than we could have ever had imagined.

We traversed the country from east to west. We saw ministries and people that are in the trenches in the most real sense of that word. They are on the ground fighting for the hearts of Romanians, refugees, and Roma Gypsies.

We sat in the homes of the least of these…prayed with them. It was all we could do. We watched heroes of the faith minister to them and invite Jesus to every setting. It was humbling, challenging. It’s the age old saying that we came to encourage and observe- and we left more challenged and encouraged.

We’ve watched the Romania countryside go by for hours on end. We’ve eaten Romanian food till we could burst. They are the most gracious hosts.

We are exhausted. To say the least
We need all the prayers to get home. Pray us there.

The good Lord cut 8 hours of our travel day- and nabbed us the last 5 seats on a direct flight instead from Frankfurt to Bucharest. Back on track nearly. Only 40 min behind when we were supposed to land before the saga of the strike began.

We will miss seeing the German countryside via train- but getting into Romania more direct is a huge win.

European airport food is top tier. And that makes us all happy.

Pray us there. We’ve got about 30 hours of travel.

We received our incredible team pictures from Arizona Reservation Ministries from our days serving on the Reservation. We are so blessed to be able to share these with you all in a POST trip dump. I hope you'll see these faces and pray for them. Pray for the great work being done by Arizona Reservation Ministries and that God continues to break through to the Apache people.

36.5 hours after we left the farm in Tipitapa…the team is on the ground in STL and HOME! 🏠

15 minutes from boarding. So close to the final push to home. We need your prayers more than ever to get us there with no more issues. No delays. Safe.

We somehow had a great day despite all.

Did we miraculously make it through TSA in less than 45 minutes…yes. Yes we did.

Did a group of us buy matching Texas sweatshirts to commemorate the stories of these last 36 hours..yes….yes we did.

Did we switch terminals just for chik fil a? Yes. Yes we did.

Did we do cannonballs in a hotel pool and get some sun outside while we waited? Yes. Yes we did.

But we are ready for our beds. Our families. We have so many stories to tell. And we can’t wait to tell you in person.

We have checked into our hotel. So thankful for quiet and rest. Food is being delivered. And rest will be had. We will try again tomorrow night.
