Regi Drake ’11 is making waves in the music world as guitarist on Visions, the newest album from Alice Merton. Known for her global hits and genre-blending sound, Merton’s latest release showcases Regi’s musicianship as part of a project that’s already reaching an international audience.
Since graduating from Crossroads, Regi has continued to build an impressive career as a performer, bringing both technical skill and artistic presence to every stage he steps on. It’s exciting to see his work featured on a major release like Visions, and even more exciting to know that this is just one stop along a growing musical journey.
We invite the Crossroads community to give Visions a listen and to follow along as Regi takes this music from the studio to the stage 🎸

Sunshine, creativity, and a whole lot of student-led magic ☀️🌸
Our Middle School Blenders for Change turned a beautiful spring day on our South Lawn into something even more special, dreaming up, cooking, styling, and hosting a full picnic from start to finish. From theater-sourced outfits and decor to a thoughtfully prepared menu, every detail was their own.
What started as an idea became a moment of connection, joy, and community building in the best kind of weather.
Proof that when students lead, their learning lasts for life 🌿🍓

If you’re a Crossroads alum, you probably remember this one 🎢
Each year, our 9th graders continue a beloved tradition with a trip to Six Flags St. Louis for a full day of hands-on physics. Concepts like velocity, acceleration, and force come to life in real time and at high speed. From collecting data and solving equations to making connections between theory and experience, students don’t just learn physics, they feel it.
It’s all part of how we turn the world into a classroom.

Pride Week at Crossroads 🌈
What started as a student-led idea through our GSA has become one of our most joyful traditions. Because June is summer break, our students made sure Pride had a place during the school year and every April, they bring it to life.
This year’s celebration kicked off in the Living Room with crafts, button-making, zines, music, and a rainbow-filled library display. From there, the week kept building with q***reoke, LGBTQ+ trivia, a screening of The Owl House, and a Friday finale featuring four rainbow cakes (yes, enough for everyone).
Along the way, students showed up in full color for dress-up days: drag/gender bend, rainbow, dress as your flag, favorite q***r characters, and favorite q***r musical artists.
Pride Week is about joy, visibility, and community. It’s a chance to celebrate the impact of q***r voices in art, culture, and politics and to reaffirm that every identity here belongs, fully and proudly. 🌈

From the classroom to the courtroom ⚖️
Our 8th grade social studies students recently had the opportunity to visit with Judge Chastidy Dillon-Amelung, Crossroads parent and board member, for an inside look at the justice system in action. As an associate circuit judge in St. Louis County with a career spanning public service, private practice, and leadership across Missouri’s legal system, she offered students a powerful window into the many paths within law.
But what stuck most was the impact. Several students walked away saying the same thing: I could see myself doing this.
It’s what happens when learning moves beyond the textbook and into real lives, real spaces, and real possibilities.

Counting down to Sunday 🎓
We are so looking forward to celebrating the kind-hearted, bold, and brilliant Class of 2026, as sad as we are to see them go.
From their final Awards Day and senior balloons and college announcements, to their last day of school and the annual pancake breakfast, to exams and 5th Day Exhibition, to still hearing their voices and laughter in the halls as they put the finishing touches on their senior murals, to their senior sunrise...and sunset, this last month has been bright with traditions and important closing moments.
They have left their mark in every corner of this place. We can’t wait to celebrate them, hear their reflections, and share in the joy this Sunday. Here's to you, Class of 2026 💙💛

This is what community looks like 💛
At Crossroads, relationships are at the center of everything. Students are known, supported, and challenged by teachers who show up not just in the classroom, but in the moments in between. The laughter in the halls, the collaboration across grades, the way students and faculty genuinely enjoy being together. It’s real, and you can feel it.
It’s a culture where students grow into themselves while being part of something bigger. Where curiosity is encouraged, voices are heard, and connection matters just as much as achievement.
Rolling admissions are open. Come see what it feels like to belong.

Our annual Middle School Science Symposium gives students their first opportunity to step into the role of researcher and presenter, sharing original work with faculty, parents, and high school students. It’s a moment where curiosity turns into confidence.
This year’s projects explored everything from volcanic eruptions and photosynthesis to the human eye, acid rain’s impact on plants and animals, simple machines, wind turbines, and global warming. Students built eggshell geodes, tested paper plane flight, created working phonographs, and so much more.
It’s not just about what they learn, it’s about how they learn to share it. Asking questions, explaining ideas, and standing behind their work.
