Thank You, Lindbergh!
I am deeply honored and humbled by your trust and support.
From the moment Megan and I moved here, this community welcomed our family with open arms. That warm welcome was the reason I first ran for the board—to ensure that every family in our district felt that same sense of belonging and support. Today, my "why" remains exactly the same.
As a veteran and a technology leader, I know how fast the world is moving. I am more committed than ever to keeping our programming future-focused, ensuring that whether our students are in Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 8th grade, or nearing graduation, they are fully prepared for the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing world.
To the volunteers who knocked on doors, the neighbors who displayed yard signs, and every resident who took the time to vote: Thank you. Public education is one of our country's most powerful rights, and I do not take the responsibility of protecting it lightly.
I am ready to get back to work for our students, our teachers, and our community.
Let's Fly!

Tomorrow is the big day! I want to say thank you to all the community members that have taken the time to talk with me and to those that have supported my campaign in so many different ways. I am truly honored and I can't overstate my appreciation. I also want to take an opportunity to share my support of my fellow incumbents, Christy Watz for Lindbergh School Board and Matt Alonzo for Lindbergh School Board. Both are great supporters of our district and champions for our students! I hope to see you all at the polls tomorrow!

Earlier today, the so called "watchdog" of Lindbergh Schools made a deep fake post about Dr. Lake as a "April Fools Joke." This action is neither funny nor harmless. Taking someone's likeness and twisting it to fit your narrative or objective, or make a statement that the person never made is a heinous violation of personal autonomy and unequivocally unacceptable. I'm also reasonably certain it constitues a crime in the State of Missouri.
The Board of Education has one employee, the Superintendent. As a people leader, I would not sit quietly by and allow this action against one of my employees at work and I will not be silent here. I am speaking as myself and not on behalf of the board when I say shame on you David Randleman for creating and sharing it and shame on you Richard Breeding for laughing at it as though it's all in good fun. You both complain about division in our community, but let me remind you, Dr. Lake is a Flyer. He is a part of this community. I'm calling on you to take the post down and apologize. I'm doing so from my page to ensure the message remains available. This goes beyond a campaign for school board. This is about basic human decency. Do better.
Note: I would tag you both but Facebook wouldn't allow it. I'm sure this post will find it's way to you.

I just got back from this celebration with Lindbergh High School and it was so awesome to watch our amazing students be recognized for their work ensuring our schools remain inclusive for all students. They are the only Missouri school to earn this prestigious designation this year. Once again, Lindbergh shines on a national scale! I am always impressed by our students and their acheivements. These are the days that give me hope for the future. Great job Flyers!
FRIDAY: A BIG DAY AS LHS RECEIVES NATIONAL RECOGNITION
We’re excited to celebrate our students and our school this Friday, March 27th as we are officially presented with the National Unified Champion School Award from Special Olympics and also host our Battle of the Classes Assembly. The National Unified Champion School Award is the highest honor awarded for inclusion, and Lindbergh is proud to be the only school in Missouri receiving this recognition this year.
MEET OUR STUDENT EMCEES
After a strong round of auditions, we are proud to announce that Gabrielle Penilla and Vihaan Choudhary will serve as our emcees for the assembly. Maggie Kavanaugh and Will Elder will also serve roles as interviewing students, staff and guests along with getting the crowd excited for the events taking place.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This will be a high-energy, student-driven celebration led by Student Council that brings together our Flyer school spirit, inclusion, and fun competitions for students:
🎶 National Anthem performed by Choir
🏅 Official Unified Champion School Award Presentation
💃 Shining Stars Performance (with Flyerettes)
💚 Unified Athlete Entrance (with Green Machine + Drumline)
🏆 Battle of the Classes Competitions
🗣️ Student Voices sharing Unified experiences
👏 Teacher Recognition
🎉 Battle of the Classes Champion Reveal
This is more than an assembly this Friday, it’s a celebration of what makes Lindbergh special: inclusion, school pride, and student leadership.
We can’t wait for an incredible day with our Flyers!

Had a great day with Christy Watz for Lindbergh School Board at the Capital representing Lindbergh with our State Legislators during MSBA's Advocacy Day. There are several bills under consideration that could negatively impact public education and it is more important than ever that we make our voices heard!
