Normandy Highschool is looking for an Attendance Clerk

Position Outlook:

The Attendance Clerk is responsible for clerical work involved in accurately maintaining student attendance records and assisting students, parents, and teachers in all matters related to student attendance.

Essential Duties:

· In charge of maintaining the students' attendance records.

· Coordinate with the teachers and other staff to gather accurate data.

· Confirm the excused absences, update databases, and submit summarized attendance reports to the administrators.

· Oversees student “sign out” process and maintains records of student absence due to appointments.

· Types, prepares, distributes, and files records, reports, and correspondence which are related to attendance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

· One year of general clerical experience, involving student records desired Proficient in use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database computer applications.

Knowledge of:

· General office procedures and office machines (computer, fax, and copier).

· Basic attendance reporting procedures and requirements.

· Record keeping techniques.

· Telephone techniques and etiquette.

· Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary.

Good afternoon PTSO family,

It's June and we have to get together to discuss 23-24 school year PTSO involved activities for the new school year.

I would like to get our monthly meeting scheduled and looks like Monday June 19, 2023 @ 6pm and would like to meet at our Carter Commons foodhall located at 6746 Page Ave Pagedale MO 63133. I will also set up zoom for those unable to attend and will send out zoom meeting info before set meeting time/date.

Meeting agenda:

1. Get to know our new members

2. Review meetings agenda and what we want to work on for 2023-2024 school year as parent committee

3.Create a Calendar of activities and workshops for school, parents and student development

4.Create and manage a fundraising and monthly dues ($20 per parent) for our parent monthly meeting to help support goals of the PTSO. We will allow the school Beyond Housing team allocate an official to be in charge of funds we collection.

5. Please come with your creative minds to create a atmosphere of growth for our babies.
