Thank you Coach Mackaylee for all of your passion, effort, and energy. We wish you the best in your next chapter!

As a student athlete for the Spartans Mackaylee was a 3x NAIA Scholar Athlete, 2x All-KCAC, 1x All-Heart, 2x NAIA All-American, 1x CSC Academic All-American, team captain ‘24-‘25, and finished her career as the programs 2nd all-time point scorer as well as tied for 3rd in goals.

From player to coach to conference assistant of the year, it’s bittersweet to see you go. Zegar will pursue a much larger role in a full time role away from the sidelines.

As a student-athlete Zegar All-KCAC First Team Defense (2024) and NAIA All-American Third Team Defense (2024), along with All-Heart First Team Defense (2025) and NAIA All-American First Team Defense (2025). Following her playing career, she worked as an assistant with MBU where she was named Heart of America Conference Assistant Coach of the Year, as well as assisted the Pattonville High School program from which she graduated.
