Congratulations to Michael Vanden Berg for finishing as a semifinalist in the National Mathematics Bee!

Michael competed in Orlando, Florida, against outstanding students from across the country and came up just short of advancing to the finals. This is a truly exciting accomplishment and a proud moment for GSA Middle!

Congratulations to Michael Vanden Berg and Sofia White for representing GSA Middle this weekend at the National Geography Bee, National History Bee, and National Mathematics Bee in Orlando, Florida!

Michael and Sofia have been competing against 400 of the brightest students from across the country, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work, preparation, and confidence they have shown on the national stage.

A special congratulations goes to Michael Vanden Berg, who has advanced to the semifinals of the National Mathematics Bee, which will take place tomorrow!

Field day fun! ☀️🎉

Our students celebrated the end of the school year with an exciting Field Day full of fun, laughter, and memories! Students enjoyed snow cones from Kona Ice, showed off their hula hoop skills, played bingo with friends, and signed each other’s yearbooks as they said their final goodbyes before summer break. 📚🍧

Thank you to our students, staff, and families for an incredible 2025–2026 school year. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer!

Help our Middle School Cheerleaders!

🎶🐾 Welcome to the GSA MS Band Instrument Petting Zoo! 🐾🎶

Today, our band students became the TEACHERS! 🎉

Each musician is showing classmates how to make sound on their instrument, sharing tips, demonstrating techniques, and maybe even surviving a few “interesting” first notes. 😅🎵

Our students are learning that teaching music takes patience, leadership, and a good sense of humor. 🎼💡

Who knew one band room could hold this much chaos and talent at the same time? 🎺🔥
