this officially concludes my takeover of the Webster abroad account! I hope you enjoyed my insights, travel pictures, and beautiful scenery of geneva!

before i go i will leave one final thing…why ?

The reason i chose this program, as a non-Webster student, is because of what it offers me as a student all-around. This program has amazing academics inside of the classroom, with courses that are INCREDIBLY RELEVANT to what’s happening in the world around us. This program also prioritizes learning outside of the classroom with visits to the UN and so many more places. This program also offers a location with proximity to other wonderful travel destinations in France, Italy, and the alps! Lastly, this program is a welcoming environment for all students—whether or not you come from Webster institutions or not! That’s why i chose to spend my summer here!

Honestly nothing could have prepared me for the type of wonder I have experienced just in the last 2 weeks of studying abroad. It’s fun, chaotic, exhilarating, adventurous, and also incredibly growing. This experience has helped me grow in so many ways, and I’ve just barely begun.

Geneva has so much to offer! Geneva is a city as alive as the experiences I’ve had in it!

Hello everyone 👋

My name is Megan and I am currently studying abroad 🇨🇭for the first summer semester! I am from the US 🇺🇸, born and raised in Louisville, KY. I am an incoming junior at Saint Louis University, where I am double-majoring in Public Health 🩻 and Economics 💵.

I am excited to be taking over the Webster abroad Instagram for the next few days to show you what I have been up to in Geneva🏙️, where I am traveling to🌎, what my coursework is like📚, what the best gelato🍧 spots are (!), and why I chose to come to Webster Geneva‼️

In my free time outside of being a student, I love to write poetry 📒, play ultimate frisbee 🥏, give campus tours of my home institution 🏙️, and hang out with my twin sister who is also studying abroad at Webster Geneva this summer!

Well, I’m a 27-year-old MBA student at Webster University in Tashkent , living my best life surrounded by wonderful people and in different cities of this beautiful world.

I studied German language back in my school, so I get used to it here, in Vienna 🇦🇹.

Thanks to Webster Private University , for the opportunity to come for a while to Austria.
