This past Monday, we held a celebration for the Micah's in the class of 2026. 🎉🥳👏🏻

We will miss you seniors! We can't to see how you carry the Micah pillars forward with you!

Another garden event in the books! 🪏🪴🫜

This past Saturday was LC Associate Michael Schriener’s faculty event at New Roots Urban Farm. Students helped pull weeds, made a hay pen for ducks, and got to have some much needed bunny cuddling.

This past Saturday, Micah students got outside and gave back to the community through hands-on volunteering. Each group made a meaningful impact in their own way. Here's what went down at each location:

SeedSTL 🪴: Students raised garden beds, set out tomato and sweet bell pepper plants, cleared out a shed, and cleared out grass and weeds.

Cornerstone 🛝: Students helped prepare the outdoor classroom for Cornerstone kiddos, as well as cleaning up the playground.

Lewis Place 🌺: Students pulled weeds from the garden, made garden beds, learned about the garden's orchards, and got to partake in thoughtful conversations with community members.

Unleashing Potential 🌻: Students volunteered at this trivia event that featured a silent auction and raffle, with proceeds going to close the opportunity gap.

Welcome back Micah's, we are so happy to have you back. This spring break, Micah students traveled to so many different places. Scroll to see their adventures some of our students took this past week!

Happy Midterms Week!! You're over halfway done! Remember to take care of yourself by prioritizing rest, staying nourished, and making space to reset when you need it. We’re proud of the standard you all continue to set. Finish this week strong. 💙🩵💚

Happy almost St. Patrick's Day and Midterm week!!! We have another Micah Mentor event going on this coming Monday (March 2nd). This is event is a chill midterm break just after community night where students can stop by to grab a donut and drink, and maybe even pick a little good-luck message 😊
