SJEM assistant director, Cathy Schroy, had a wonderful several days of diving deeper into the spirituality of the Sisters of St. Joseph At Spirits on Fire. It was wonderful to meet new friends and colleagues in the family of Joseph from around the country. Many folks from SJEM institutions attend Spirits on Fire. As well, SJEM offers a scholarship each year for this amazing formation program. Thank you to the Spirits on Fire team who have designed and facilitate this gift!

God’s holy Love is always at work in us. We never arrive but are always a work in progress. - Maxim 92 SJEM was delighted to join President Ann McElaney Johnson, the CSJ’s, and the entire campus community of Mount Saint Mary’s University for their 100th Anniversary Campus Celebration. The day was marked by the ceremonial burial of a time capsule, leaning into the future, and the viewing of their new film celebrating the 100 year history of the institution. Thank you to MSMU and .csjinstitute for all you do to live unifying love into the future! Indeed, you are UNSTOPPABLE

On March 19, we recognize the Feast of St. Joseph, our namesake for more than 187 years. Students at our Indianapolis preschool recognized St. Joseph’s Day by reading special book about St. Joseph’s compassion, humility, and courage.

As a member organization of St. Joseph Educational Ministries, we are proud to carry the legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in our programs and services today.

Happy Feast Day to our Sisters of St. Joseph, SJEM community, and all the family of Joseph! We Look to Joseph

God of Great Love,
Your son, Jesus, was nurtured by St. Joseph.
May we look to Joseph as our model of justice,
gentleness and humility.
May we, with Joseph, nurture the life of Christ
in our lives and in the lives of others
Uniting all people and all creation
with God and with one another.
May Joseph’s life inspire us
to be a hopeful, healing presence
within our world.
Amen.
