St. Patrick’s Day and Rainbows was so much from now we are learning where it all begun. Today we introduce the children to basic weather concepts, focusing on clouds and rain. Through hands-on activities, stories, and observation, the children learned how clouds form and how rain happens. They explored different types of clouds using visuals and cotton-ball art, and simulate rain with simple science experiments.
Jamaica Showers Playcare Center had a joyful and enriching celebration of St. Patrick’s Day filled with fun, creativity, and learning. The children explored the magic of rainbows by learning about colors, patterns, and how rainbows are formed, while engaging in hands-on art activities. They also discovered the special meaning of four-leaf clovers, talking about luck and nature, and even searched for their own lucky clovers during playtime. To add to the excitement, we incorporated imaginative play with “pots of gold,” encouraging counting, sorting, and sharing.
