St. Patrick’s Day and Rainbows was so much from now we are learning where it all begun. Today we introduce the children to basic weather concepts, focusing on clouds and rain. Through hands-on activities, stories, and observation, the children learned how clouds form and how rain happens. They explored different types of clouds using visuals and cotton-ball art, and simulate rain with simple science experiments.

Jamaica Showers Playcare Center had a joyful and enriching celebration of St. Patrick’s Day filled with fun, creativity, and learning. The children explored the magic of rainbows by learning about colors, patterns, and how rainbows are formed, while engaging in hands-on art activities. They also discovered the special meaning of four-leaf clovers, talking about luck and nature, and even searched for their own lucky clovers during playtime. To add to the excitement, we incorporated imaginative play with “pots of gold,” encouraging counting, sorting, and sharing.

🌿 Big Care for Little Ones: New Openings at Jamaica Showers Playcare!

Looking for a childcare environment that feels more like a second home? At Jamaica Showers Playcare Center, LLC, we believe that smaller is better. We pride ourselves on maintaining a low teacher-to-child ratio, ensuring your little ones get the focused attention, cuddles, and developmental support they deserve.

We currently have a few select spots available for families looking to join our community:

Available Openings

Infant & Toddler Suite (Newborn – 23 Months): 3 Openings

Two-Year-Old Classroom: 1 Opening

Why Choose Us?

We keep our circles small so our impact can be big. In our two-year-old classroom, we maintain a maximum of 6 children per teacher.

The "Playcare" Difference: By limiting our class sizes, our teachers aren't just "supervising"—they are actively engaging, teaching, and bonding with every child. This low ratio allows us to spend that much-needed one-on-one time during these critical formative years.
