The Central Region is comprised of the following states Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
The Central Region is one out of seven Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated private, not-for-profit regions established to carry out the programs of the sorority based upon the organization's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.

Leadership DELTA (Defining Emerging Leaders Through Advocacy) is an eight-month leadership development program designed to equip and empower collegiate members selected from all seven regions based on their scholastic achievement, campus and community involvement, and demonstrated leadership excellence.

Heart disease continues to disproportionately impact Black women, with nearly 59% living with some form of cardiovascular disease. Knowledge is power, and prevention is possible.
Know your numbers.
Monitor your blood pressure.
Ask about your A1C and cholesterol.
Stay consistent with routine screenings.
When we prioritize our health, we protect our purpose. Let’s choose heart health — for ourselves and for the generations watching us.

As our collegiates prepare to head back to campus, we are proud to highlight Soror Omaima Lado of the Omicron Chapter who spent her summer participating in the Stephanie Tubbs Jones (STJ) Summer Internship Program! ✨
This distinguished program, created in honor of Soror Stephanie Tubbs Jones, connects collegiate members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to meaningful experiences on Capitol Hill. Through a partnership with the Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF) Internship Program, participants gain invaluable insight into the legislative process while advocating for the issues that impact our communities most.
