🫐🍓🍎 **Sensory Food Exploration!** 🍎🍓🫐

Today our infants explored different food textures by squishing blueberries, picking up strawberries, and feeling smooth applesauce. These fun hands-on experiences help develop fine motor skills and support sensory learning. We love watching our little learners explore and grow! 💙✨

☀️ Outdoor exploration was in full swing today! 💛

Our little learners enjoyed discovering new sounds with egg shakers, practicing how to grasp, shake, and listen to the different noises they make. 🎶🥚

They also had fun with a pink bouncy ball, learning how to roll and throw while developing their gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination. ⚽✨

At M.EL.K Academy, every moment is an opportunity to learn, grow, and explore through play! 🌱🧡

Behind the scenes of a special day at M.EL.K Academy! 💙📚

A huge thank you to Officer Davis and Detective Young for taking the time to sit with our children, read stories, answer questions, and create meaningful connections.

We’d also like to give a special thank you to our very own Berkeley Councilwoman Willie Mae Anthony, author of The Duck That Was Afraid to Swim, for sharing her book with our students and helping make this experience possible.
