Sorry for the last-minute post, but y’all know me—**when I see FREE resources for our families, I’m going to share them!** 😂🙌🏾

🎒 **STL Wranglers Jeeps are giving away FREE book bags and school supplies TODAY** across from the **Walmart on Lindbergh! 🚙**

⏰ They said they’ll be out there **until 6:00 PM**, and as of right now, **they still have plenty of items left!**

If you have transportation and can make it over there, I definitely recommend checking it out while supplies are still available. 🏃🏾‍♀️💨

I know this is super last minute (I just happened to ride past and see them myself), but I’d rather send it late than find out tomorrow that I could’ve helped one of my Meadows families grab some free supplies!

RGSD's next Together for a Stronger Future community meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Aug. 26 at Westview Middle School. The meeting will take place from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

Thank you to those in the RGSD community who showed up and participated in the virtual meeting on August 6 and the in-person meeting on July 23 at Meadows Elementary.

Make sure you come out and participate on Aug. 26!

The RGSD Board of Education recognized Marvin Crumer for Riverview Excellence at the Aug. 11 meeting. Crumer, the Parks and Recreation director for the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors, opened up the city's recreation center to Riverview Gardens High School's student-athletes after a water main break damaged the school's gym and workout facilities. Crumer and his team have also spearheaded toy drives, food drives and have provided important resources and opportunities to RGSD students. Thank you to Marvin Crumer and the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors for your continued support!

Just a friendly reminder that RGSD's Back to School Bash, originally scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 6, will happen today, Monday, August 10. Join us today at Riverview Gardens High School from 6-8 PM!

Remember, students who are not fully registered will not receive free backpacks, school supplies and food truck tickets.

We can't wait to see you this evening!

Central Middle School Is Getting Ready for a Great New School Year!

The excitement is building at Central Middle School as we get ready to welcome our students back for another great school year! During Tax-Free Weekend on August 8th and 9th, Central Middle School teachers volunteered their time to support KidSmart, their biggest school supply drive of the year. Our dedicated volunteers encouraged shoppers to pick up extra school supplies and donate items that will go directly toward helping students in need. The goal is simple: fill every supply bin and help make sure every student starts the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. We are proud to have Central staff members helping make a difference in our community as we prepare for an exciting year ahead. The countdown is on, Jr. Rams!
