Thyrsus is thrilled to announce our fall play, a new take on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet!

Performances will be held November 12th-14th in the Village Black Box!

This upcoming Sunday, come to Hi-Pointe Theatre to see one of Thyrsus’ earliest works, the first known student film and recent inductee into the Library of Congress on 35 mm, THE MAID OF MCMILLAN!!!

The Thyrsus Dramatic Society of Washington University in St. Louis proudly presents our second Day of Shame of the 2026 Spring Semester!

Come to the kickoff of “Tim Burton Presents ‘Which Came First, The Rabbit Or The Egg: An Unsolved Mysterious Conundrum In Philosophy. By Panic! At The Disco’” at seven PM on April 3 in Brown 100. The performance will be the following night, April 4, at seven PM in Brown 100. 30 student written plays performed in just 60 minutes, or your money back guaranteed! (Note: the show is free)

Announcing….
our fourth Day of Shame (and our first of 2026) Autofill Passwords!

Kickoff is not Friday the 23rd at 7pm in Brown 100, and the performance is not Saturday the 24th at 7!! Instead, we will be kicking off on February 6 at 7pm and performing on February 7 at 7pm. Still in Brown 100.
