In spring 2023, Finn Nardie Warner's capstone Internship was at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site. For his special project, he took pictures of the popular spots at the Ulysses S. Grant site but only posted a small portion of the image on social media, where he encouraged viewers to guess what it was part of. He hopes the interactive social media posts will spark interest and bring new people to the site. Additionally, these posts educate the community about Ulysses S. Grant without having them visit the site. Finn hopes these posts will encourage people to learn more about our past and visit the site. Finn wants to thank his supervisor, Julie Northrip.

BES Spring 23 Capstone Intern Jessyca Stephney had a wonderful internship with ArrowPoint Elementary. Her special internship project involved helping a classroom with behavioral problems have a calming corner where the students can recuperate if they feel overwhelmed. The other special project consisted of a more specialized area of interest where she observed the reading teacher for 15-20 minutes, took notes, and then individually helped students in the classroom. This gave her a great experience in becoming a future reading teacher while also supplying the children with a fresh face and an excellent education.
