☕️ New to HCA? Or maybe just still figuring things out? Come grab a coffee with us! 💙

We’re hosting Coffee & Connections for our new (and newer!) HCA families and we’d love to meet you!

Join us for a casual morning with coffee, a chance to meet a few other HCA families, and a helpful conversation about all the little things that can make starting at a new school easier.

We’ll cover things like:

✨ What parents wish they knew
✨ Events & traditions you won’t want to miss
✨ Ways to stay in the know
✨ Who to go to when you need help
✨ Easy ways to get connected
✨ And answers to some of the questions you may already have!

We’ll have a short presentation with helpful information and FAQs, followed by some time to ask questions and connect with other families.

No pressure to volunteer or sign up for anything. Just come, listen, ask questions, and hopefully leave feeling a little more connected and in the know. ❤️

We’re excited to have King of Pops joining us during Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 6, from 4:00–7:00 PM!

Stop by for a delicious handcrafted popsicle while you meet your teachers, catch up with friends, and get ready for an amazing school year.

💙 Even sweeter? $1 from every popsicle sold will be donated back to HCA! Every purchase helps support our students, teachers, and school community.

We’re excited to welcome everyone back for the new school year!

After meeting your teacher, stop by the PTO table in the cafeteria to:
• Join the PTO
• See our calendar of events
• Purchase spirit wear
• Purchase PE uniforms

We’re also still looking for a few volunteers to help during Meet the Teacher. If you have a little time to spare, we’d really appreciate it!

This morning, the HCA PTO was honored to kick off the new school year by treating our incredible teachers and staff to a Welcome Back Breakfast.

Thank you for everything you do to prepare, encourage, inspire, and care for our students. Your dedication makes a difference every single day, and we’re so excited for another amazing year together.

We hope you enjoyed a little breakfast, a lot of appreciation, and know that your PTO is here to support you all year long.

👕 Want to see the colors, sizes, and styles in person? Stop by our Meet the Teacher event on Wednesday, August 6. You can even order ahead and skip the line!

⏰ Please note: Our online store will be temporarily closed from August 5 at noon through August 7 at noon so we can prepare Meet the Teacher orders. It will reopen after noon on August 7.

We loved seeing so many of our newest Hurricanes at Kindergarten Popsicles on the Playground today! It was so much fun watching new friendships begin, meeting families, and seeing all the excitement for the school year ahead.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a great turnout. We can’t wait to welcome our kindergarteners through the doors in just a few weeks!

Last year’s Lost & Found looked less like a school collection and more like a department store! 😂 We had enough hoodies, water bottles, and lunch boxes to outfit a small village.

Let’s not do that again this year!

Please put your child’s name on everything—jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes…if it leaves the house with them, it should have their name on it!
