Our Harmony Middle Agriculture & FFA fundraiser is still going strong! Please continue helping your student add contacts and share their fundraiser page on social media. Sharing on social media allows us to reach even more people!
We also have sponsorship packages available for businesses that donate $250, $500, or $1,000. Each year, we create an official Harmony Middle FFA shirt featuring the names of our business sponsors on the back. Sponsors may also have their business logo displayed on a banner along the fence in our busy car rider loop!
Please share the attached sponsorship information with local businesses, employers, family members, and community connections. These sponsorships provide businesses with added recognition while directly supporting our students’ leadership opportunities, competitions, classroom projects, animals, and hands-on learning.

🐔💙💛 The Harmony Middle FFA Auction Hen Project is officially underway! 💛💙🐔

FFA member Landen Wilson picked up his 10 Black Austrolorp chicks today and is ready to begin raising and caring for them for the Osceola County Fair!

Over the next several months, Landen will be responsible for feeding, caring for, and watching his flock grow along with our agriculture classes. When February rolls around, he’ll select the best three hens to represent Harmony Middle FFA and be sold at the Osceola County Fair Auction! 🐔🏆

We can’t wait to watch Landen and these little chicks grow throughout the year!

The show journey officially begins! 🐷💙💛

Today, our two Harmony Middle FFA chapter exhibitors (Laice Horsley and Sloane Leonardo) got to meet the market pig they’ll be raising, training, and preparing for the Osceola County Fair! From earning trust and learning proper care to feeding, training, and showmanship, there’s a whole lot of work ahead between now and February.

We can’t wait to watch these girls grow right alongside their project! 💙🐷💛

A BIG thank you to the Herb and Myers family for helping us make this project possible and supporting our students every step of the way. It truly takes a village! 💛

FFA Parents & Adults! Want to Get More Involved with FFA? Join Our Alumni!

Are you looking for a way to get more involved with our agriculture program and FFA chapter to help our local students? Our FFA Alumni & Supporters Chapter is the perfect place to start!

Think of Alumni as the “PTO” of our agriculture program and FFA chapter. You do NOT have to be a former FFA member to join! Parents, family members, and supporters are all welcome. Alumni helps support our students, activities, events, and opportunities throughout the year.

Their first meeting of the school year is TOMORROW at 6:30 PM at Beef O’Brady’s in St. Cloud!

If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, come join us! We would love to have you!

🐔 FFA Auction Chicken Opportunity! 🐔

We are looking for ONE FFA member interested in raising and showing our chapter’s auction chickens at KVLS!

🐥 Raise and care for 10 chickens housed at our school
🌽 All feed, supplies, and expenses are covered by our Ag/FFA program
🏆 Select your best 3 chickens to show at the fair
💰 Auction proceeds go back to our Ag/FFA program

What’s required?

• Attend workshops throughout the year, including a mandatory workshop in January
• Complete a record book. Ms. Brown will help!
• Complete the Skill-a-Thon test
• Care for the chickens each day during the fair, approximately a week and a half

📅 Chicken Pickup: August 23 | 4:00 to 4:30 PM at KVLS

Ms. Brown will be out of town on the pickup date, so the selected student/family will need to transport the chickens from KVLS back to Harmony Middle. We have the transport cage and all necessary supplies!

This is a great opportunity for a student who wants the experience of raising and showing chickens but may not have the ability to keep animals at home. 🐔💙💛
