💙🌾Our second meeting was a SUCCESS! We enjoyed some Chex Mix, learned how to walk a hog, and had a little fun with beach balls and whips! Our Members Of the Month are Gemma Ronan and Chandler Carpenter. From snacks to livestock skills, we’re learning, and growing together! 🌾💙

Thank you to our Tool ID Captain - Laice Horsley for coordinating the dates for our practices.

Tool Identification practice starts next Tuesday! Practices will be held virtually through Microsoft Teams from 7:30–8:15 AM on September 29, October 6, and October 13. The virtual preliminary contest will take place on October 15 during 1st and 2nd periods in the library. Last year, 98 teams competed across Florida, and only the top 20 advanced to the state finals. Let’s work hard and make it to state! 🔧💙💛

From Andreya Garrison Boyd - our Citrus ID Team Captain!!

Hey everyone!! 🍊 I wanted to send out our Citrus ID practice schedule for the next few weeks leading up to competition! We’ll be doing our practices online through Teams, and Ms. Brown will be joining us to help teach us and get us ready for competition!

Each practice will be split into two parts:

📖 15 minutes — Teaching/Learning
✏️ 15 minutes — Homework/Practice

Our practice dates are:

⭐ September 22
⭐ September 29
⭐ October 6
⭐ October 13

For our first practice, we’ll go over what Citrus ID is, what the competition is going to be like, and what we’ll need to know going into it! I’ll post the Teams link in the group before each practice.

Please try your best to make it to each practice and keep up with the homework and studying outside of practice, too! We’ve got this! 🍊🫶

Hi everyone! It's Fresh Eggs Friday!

Our eggs come straight from the Harmony Middle Agriculture Program on school campus. Students help raise and care for our chickens, collect the eggs, and prepare them for sale. They truly are the ones doing it! How awesome!

All school orders from parents and HRMS staff will be delivered during 8th period. Community members purchasing from outside of the school can pick up their eggs in the front office.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone until next Friday!
