We ended the school year united as a school family with the celebration of Mass followed by a Eucharistic Procession around our SIJ campus. ❤️‍🔥

Today, on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we give thanks to God for His deep love for us and for His vulnerable love in the gift of the Eucharist. We pray for the grace to follow Pope Leo's invitation and return to Jesus with a sincere love especially tonight at 6pm Mass at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church.

Sr. Gianna Marie, OP is the third member of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist to serve as principal of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School!

Sr. Catherine Marie, OP served as principal from 2014-2021 and Sr. Maria Guadalupe, OP served as principal from 2021-2026. We are grateful for their legacy of leadership, continued prayers and support for SIJ!

We continue to be blessed by the presence and ministry of the sisters at our school — serving in administration and in classrooms for 12 years and counting!

❤️‍🔥 Mass at 6PM followed by a reception with Fr. Joe and Pro Ecclesia Sancta to celebrate and draw near to Jesus on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart!

As part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

You are invited to join Pro Ecclesia Sancta for the Holy Mass of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 12, at 6:00 PM at St. Isaac Jogues Parish with a special celebration to follow!

In a letter to SIJ families, Sr. Gianna Marie wrote:
"I am overwhelmed with gratitude... What a privilege and a joy to have this opportunity to give back to the community that has formed me, loved me, and supported me not only the first two years I was here, but also in this past school year."

We give thanks to God for Sr. Maria Guadalupe's five years serving as principal at SIJ, and we look forward, with joyful hope, for all that the Lord will continue to do in this new chapter under Sr. Gianna Marie's leadership at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School.
