Congratulations to LSHS Esports head coach, Shayne Trail, for being selected as Coach of the Year by the National Association of Esports Coaches and Directors! Coach Trail received this award at the national conference in Ohio and we are so proud of him and the incredible program he continues to grow at Lake Shore!

Congratulations to Abby and Ella for placing 9th in the NATION for video production at the SkillsUSA Competition!! They also earned a SkillPoint award. Three years ago, the LSHS placed second from last. Last year, our team moved up to 20th place and this year, they moved up 11 spots to 9th. It is a grueling event - difficult prompts, tight timelines, and advanced teamwork and editing skills are required. Their final submission is in the comments.

We couldn’t be more proud of these amazing young women (and their incredible teacher, Ms Blaszkowski) for how they prepared, worked hard, and represented Lake Shore at the national level. Such impressive results. Congratulations!!

The Lake Shore German Department urgently needs host families for German exchange students visiting for two weeks next January. Hosting an exchange student is a rewarding cultural experience, and students who host may also have the opportunity to travel to Germany next June as part of the exchange program.
