β¨A Day In The Life Of A St. Germaine Spartanβ¨
Towards the end of the school year, a video was created to forever document a typical day at the school we love so much. The closing of St. Germaine Catholic School marks the end of an era filled with cherished memories, remarkable achievements, and a strong sense of community.
Throughout the years, we have watched your children blossom academically, emotionally, and spiritually. They have faced challenges with resilience, celebrated successes with joy, and developed into compassionate and well-rounded individuals. The foundation they have built at St. Germaine will serve them well in all their future endeavors. As they move on to new schools and new adventures, we pray for their safety, continued growth, and happiness. We are certain they will carry the lessons learned and the friendships made here into their bright futures.
While our physical doors may be closing, the spirit of St. Germaine Catholic School will forever remain in our hearts.
Once A Spartan, Always A Spartan! π
Thank you so much to the Our Lady of Hope SCS Menβs Club, Mr. Oziem, and Nexus Entertainment for this wonderful video that we will forever cherish.

Today is the Feast Day of Saint Germaine Cousin, who lived in Pibrac, France in the late 1500s. Despite her hardships, she lived each day full of thanksgiving and joy, and spent much of her time praying the Rosary and teaching the village children about the love of God.

St. Germaine,
You experienced much hardship and suffering in your life, yet remained steadfast in your faith. Help me to remember that trials and difficulties are opportunities for growth and spiritual development.
May your unwavering trust in God give me the strength to endure any difficulty that may come my way.
Amen.
St. Germaine, Pray for us!

πCongratulations to Sawyer Wilson and Abigail Jones who are the recipients of the Sarah Chetcuti Award! π
When we think of the qualities that embody Mrs. Chetcuti, we think of how she is helpful and always willing to lend a hand. She's kind and makes sure others needs are met. She is friendly and genuinely cares about your well-being. She prays for those who she knows and doesnβt know and she lets her virtues shine as an example to all.
When we think of exemplary students who embody the values of our institution, both immediately come to mind. Their achievements, both academic and extracurricular, are truly remarkable, but what truly sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to serving others.
Both are not just honor students, but they are also shining examples of kindness and compassion. Their hearts overflow with empathy, and they consistently go above and beyond to lend a helping hand to those in need.
As active members of our student council, they epitomize the essence of community, dedicating countless hours to volunteer work that uplifts and strengthens our school and the wider community. Whether it's organizing food drives, leading service projects, or simply offering a listening ear to their peers, both embody the true spirit of servant leadership.
Their excellence extends far beyond the classroom and into the realm of athletics, where they demonstrate their exemplary sportsmanship and leadership qualities.
But perhaps most inspiring of all is their deep and abiding faith. As altar servers and sacristans, they humbly serve the Lord with reverence and devotion, embodying the values of humility, service, and reverence.
In both, we see not just admirable students, athletes, and leaders, but shining examples of what it means to live a life of purpose and service. Their selflessness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to serving others serve as an inspiration to us all.
Please join me in congratulating the recipients of the Mrs. Chetcuti award, Mr. Sawyer Wilson and Ms. Abigail Jones. May you continue to shine brightly, illuminating the path for others to follow, and may your lives be filled with countless blessings as you continue to serve the Lord and those around you with love, humility, and grace. Congratulations on your well-deserved recognition, and may you continue to inspire us all with your unwavering commitment to excellence and service.

Thank you to all alumni who came to 'Muffins and Memories' today. It was truly a pleasure to see so many of our former students, who once roamed these corridors as children, come back with their loved ones and relive those memories once more. St. Germaine Catholic School leaves an lasting mark on our hearts as we are united by the memories we've made within its walls.
