Here's a lesson from my friend Nicole Mullis, for all of the perceived differences in our community schools, our "similarities are startling."

For all the differences between our high schools, at the All-City Track Meet, the similarities were startling Athletes compete. Coaches coach. Parents cheer and volunteer and mispronounce kids’ names.
