**Masonic Heights Families — We Need EVERY Family to Complete This Form!**

There is an important new requirement in Michigan for the 2026–2027 school year: every student must have an Educational Benefits Form completed and on file.

🍎 “But aren't breakfast and lunch free for everyone?”

YES! All Lake Shore students are eligible for FREE breakfast and lunch this year, regardless of whether your family qualifies for educational benefits.

However, we still need every family to complete the Educational Benefits Form. Information collected through these forms helps determine important funding and resources available to our schools and students.

Even if you don't think your family will qualify for additional benefits, please complete the form. We need a response for every student!

All adults who plan to volunteer during the 2026–2027 school year must complete a new Volunteer Background Check. This includes classroom volunteers, party helpers, field trip chaperones, and volunteers at PTO events.

We are beyond excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to partner with our Masonic Heights families to make this an amazing year for our students.
