✏️ As the 2026-27 school year approaches, we know our families will see back-to-school television advertisements and store shelves overflowing with school supplies in the next month or two. In order for you to plan ahead and get the best deals on your purchases now, we would like to share our updated school supply lists ahead of Amazon Prime Day 2026, which takes place from Tuesday, June 23, through Friday, June 26.

Thank you upcoming 6th graders Mason Templin, Hannah Williams, Laila Marshall, Kristin Woods, Edden Johnson, Carter Brown from Violet Elementary for modeling school supplies at the local Meijer! We even had a surprise visit from School Board Trustee Wendy Tobias at the photo shoot while she shopped for groceries!

And if you're not quite ready to start shopping yet, no worries — we get it. These 6th graders discovered aisles filled with books, beach gear, and sunscreen. They're ready to soak up summer, too!
