A busy two weeks for our Shorian Bands!

Last week, we adventured to Clawson High School for MSBOA Distrif XVI Band/Orchestra Festival. The Symphonic Band earned straight 2nd Division Excellent ratings! The Wind Ensemble earned a 2nd Division Excellent Rating overall, with Straight A’s in Sight-Reading!

Tonight, the LSHS Jazz Ensemble, for the first time since 2019, earned straight 1st Division Superior Ratings at MSBOA State Jazz Festival, hosted by Wyandotte Roosevelt High School!

Congratulations to our Shorian Bands, and best of luck to those participating in MSBOA State Solo/Ensemble at Warren Cousino HS! Yay band!

Thank you to the students and parents today who came out to Merry TubaChristmas and volunteered their time while we raised money to support people transitioning through homeless with NOAH at Central.

The Lake Shore Brass Ensemble had many compliments thrown their way.

Being able to help our community during this holiday season is a joy.

The LSHS Bands present their Winter Concert on Tuesday December 9th at 7pm at the LSHS Auditorium. We hope to see you there!
