Kinesthetic Subdominance converted by Flash Anzan or Chisanbop….

I’ll point to this story when I pass out the Wiki Sticks.

I’ll point to this story when I pass out the Wiki Sticks.

In the 1930s Werner Burau, a German mathematician, introduced a twisted geometrical mystery that would stand for nearly a century. Columbia University mathematician Joan Birman helped to popularize the Burau representation 60 years ago.

And in 2026, the now 99-year-old Birman has closed the case with the help of two collaborators, revealing brand new insights into the geometry of braids. http://spklr.io/6008EuKtY

I was curious what would happen if I decided, like many parents are tempted, to use an LLM to develop my student’s mathematical intuitions.

It spit out hilariously bad advice.

And it’s completely devoid of any concept of a developing visual field relative to the task assignment.

You flash a collection of dots at a kid who is Aud dominant and don’t allow them to count?

Pure silliness.

This is a mess.

It’s never “got there” to the game changing apparatus.

Before the neural trim at 3 1/2, a 3 year old often does nice work…

What a strongly tactile subdominant child looks like. I use Play-Doh to deal with the need….

When the child is a Kinesthetic Subdom.

This child is an Auditory (dominant)/Kinesthetic (subdominant.)

What this means is that when she’s in A position (coding for the first time/first look) she “rocks” to “etch the disk.”

Watch what she does when I tell her to stand up. The circles were not my instruction. It’s what she did independently.

When critics tell you that “learning styles is a myth” they’re (somewhat) right. (This is because the psychologists have mapped the behaviors backwards, not because they’re not there. Kids who need to use a lot of colors on a page are NOT “visual learners.” Their input dominance is “auditory” and color on the page provides a “neural assist” to weak visual processing.)

“Input dominance” is real—-and Veritasium is wrong.
