The Cake Walk is BACK! 🍰 We need YOU! See the Seton Carnival post below for more details!

Calling all bakers! Fire up the oven and pull out your best recipe. The Cake Walk is BACK and yours could be the one everybody's eyeing all afternoon!

Donate a cake, cupcakes, or any baked treat for the Cake Walk, happening at the Carnival on Saturday from 12-6. Drop off at the school gym Thursday after 2pm - Saturday before noon.

Box mix absolutely counts and kid created treats are well loved too!

🥇Our gym walls got an upgrade today with a banner raising! Seton had FOUR 1st-place events this past spring at the C*C Track and Field Championship Meet!
🐾 1st Place for 3rd/4th Grade Boys 4x200
🐾 1st Place for 5th/6th Grade Boys 4x100
🐾 1st Place 5th/6th Grade Boys Shot Put
🐾 1st Place 5th/6th Grade Boys Long Jump

Thank you to our entire C*C Track and Field Coaching Staff for all their work helping these young athletes! We are so proud of our Cougars! Be sure to check out the new banner the next time you're in the gym!

🐾Don't Forget! 🐾 THIS Friday, August 28th is a DRESS-DOWN DAY for ALL HOMEROOMS!
🫶THANK YOU, SETON FAMILIES!🫶 Because of you, the monetary goal was met for the Carnival Raffle Basket Donations, as well as 75% or higher participation in all homerooms! Way to go, Cougars!

Mrs. Wisniewski, our music teacher, acquired a relic of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and is letting our classrooms have it for a week or two at a time this year! This will be another way to teach about our patron saint as well as learn about relics and why they matter in our faith! St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us!

📚⏱️Speed Dating for Books?? ⏱️📚
Another fun middle school moment this time in Mrs. Purcell’s class! Exposing students to multiple genres to help them find a book that interests them for the quarter was the goal! Each table has its own genre with a stack of books within that genre. Every 5 minutes they rotated to a new table and made notes about the book they “dated” and learned about a new genre they may not have been drawn to before! We love new ways to introduce learning and hook students on reading! Thank you Mrs. Purcell for a fun moment in the classroom! (And thank you to Mrs. Leighton in the Library who picked out the books for this fun activity!)

💙 Our 5th grade classes got the coolest surprise today with popsicles with the best SROs ever! There was even enough to share with teachers, middle schoolers, and Fr. Schumacher! Seton is blessed with the best and our St. Charles Police Officers are proof!

Our Middle School is kicking off the first full week with all the fun in Science with Mrs. Welchko! Middle schoolers did the coolest Phenomena Stations. Our school is blessed with a science lab for hands-on learning! Thank you, Mrs. Welchko--you truly are the BEST!

The Seton Carnival will be here before we know it, which means it’s time to start collecting donations for our AMAZING raffle baskets!
Each class that reaches 75% participation will earn a Dress Down Day! 🙌
