🎉 Happy Retirement, Dr. Kathi Vosevich! 🎉
Provost & Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs

Today, we celebrate Dr. Kathi Vosevich as she retires after years of extraordinary leadership at Lindenwood University. Since joining Lindenwood in 2019 as Dean of the School of Humanities and later becoming the founding Dean of the College of Arts & Humanities in 2021, Kathi has shaped CAH into the vibrant, mission driven academic home it is today.

Over the past year, she has served as Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, guiding the university with vision, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to student success.

Kathi’s impact is woven into every corner of campus, from strengthening academic programs, to championing faculty excellence, to building a foundation that will support future Lions for generations to come. Her leadership has empowered students to think boldly, create meaningfully, do well and do good.

💛 Thank you, Kathi, for everything you’ve built, everything you’ve inspired, and everything you’ve given to Lindenwood.

Your legacy will continue to shine through the students, faculty, and programs you helped shape.

✨ Celebrating Alumni Excellence in Art, Production, and Design ✨

We’re proud to spotlight Taylor Misukonis, a Lindenwood University Graphic Design alum whose career beautifully reflects the creativity, curiosity, and strategic thinking that continue to define CAH. 💡🎨

Taylor now serves as Senior Digital Brand Designer at The Frye Company, where she leads design across e commerce, campaigns, lifecycle marketing, and creative strategy. Her work blends customer insight, product craftsmanship, brand heritage, and business goals, creating visuals that are not only stunning but strategically impactful. 🔥

In her recent VoyageSTL feature, Taylor shares how she discovered her passion for graphic design at Lindenwood, expanded beyond traditional design roles, and learned to communicate the broader value of creative work. She also reflects on her viral “In My Campus Era” campaign, a project so resonant that customers began using its language in their own conversations with the brand. 💬✨

We’re thrilled to see Taylor continuing to innovate, lead, and represent Lindenwood’s Department of Art, Production, and Design with excellence. Her journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when creativity meets purpose.

✨ Meet Kendra Gardner, our new Administrative Assistant, Student Employee! 🎨🦁

We’re excited to welcome Kendra to the College of Arts & Humanities team! She’ll be the friendly face greeting students at the McCluer front desk, helping guide visitors, and supporting our CAH faculty and staff throughout the year. 💛📚

Kendra graduated from Jefferson City High School and is currently majoring in Graphic Design here at Lindenwood. Her passion for creativity started young and was inspired by her cousin, who also pursued Graphic Design, sparking Kendra’s dream of becoming a Brand Identity Designer.

Kendra is always creating big projects, small sketches, or anything that lets her explore art in all its forms. When she’s not designing, you’ll likely find her outdoors, painting, spending time with loved ones, or hanging out with her two amazing dogs. 🐾💛

She’s also a musician at heart, playing both piano and guitar for nearly ten years. 🎹🎸

Kendra shared that she’s “so happy to be here at Lindenwood and can’t wait to meet everybody,” and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on our team.
Stop by McCluer Hall to say hello and welcome her to CAH! 🌿✨

Congratulations to two of our Cinema Arts faculty for presenting at the 2026 University Film & Video Association (UFVA) Conference in Minneapolis!

Senior Professor Ben Scholle delivered two sessions for film faculty from across the country, sharing his insights on teaching documentary production in the age of social media. He also screened his short documentary, “Continuing Education,” which highlights an English language class at the International Institute of St. Louis. 🎥✨

Associate Professor Andrew Millians also took the stage, presenting his talk, “Maybe I Don’t Want Your Notes: The Trials and Tribulations of Feedback in Screenwriting Coursework.” His session explored the art (and occasional chaos) of creative feedback, a reality every filmmaker knows all too well. 📝🔥

The UFVA is the preeminent academic organization dedicated to media production, writing, history, theory, and criticism, making these presentations an exciting spotlight for Lindenwood’s Cinema Arts program.

📚 Want to learn filmmaking from professors who are shaping national conversations in film education? Study Cinema Arts under the direction of Professors Scholle and Millians and gain hands on experience, industry insight, and the creative confidence to tell stories that matter. Your next project could be the one lighting up a festival screen. 🎞️🦁

✨ A huge summer win for Lindenwood Fashion! ✨

Our Fashion department had the opportunity to attend the St. Louis Fashion Fund’s Susan Sherman Scholarship and Fashion Futures event at Neiman Marcus this summer, where three of the six scholarship recipients were Lindenwood students! 💛👗

🎉Congratulations to Constance Anthony (her second win!), Mia Kreiger, and Maria Clark, recognized for their creativity, vision, and industry ready talent! 🎉

The Susan Sherman Scholarship supports Missouri students pursuing fashion-related programs and provides not only financial assistance but also mentorship and internship connections through the Fashion Fund’s partnership with Caleres and Neiman Marcus. This year’s awards celebrated emerging designers and creatives from across the state, underscoring the strength of Lindenwood’s Fashion program and the talent our students bring to the region’s growing fashion ecosystem.

We’re proud of our students and faculty who continue to push boundaries, innovate boldly, and inspire the next generation of designers.

We had the joy of welcoming this year’s freshman class as they stepped onto campus and officially began their Lindenwood journey. Meeting our new students, hearing about their interests, passions, and stories, and helping them get ready for the first day of classes reminded us exactly why we love what we do!

We cannot express how excited we are for the year ahead! The creativity, curiosity, and community these students bring is already inspiring us! Thank you to everyone who showed up to support our amazing Lions and help make their first day unforgettable.

A special shoutout to CFO Dom Chase for serving up CAH ton candy and bringing an extra dose of sweetness and Lion spirit to the day!

Here’s to a great year filled with growth, connection, and endless possibilities 🦁💛
