Students in Mrs. Johnson’s classes enjoyed a special visit from Officer Schue and Officer Millie of the St. Charles County Police Department!

Officer Schue shared inspiring insights on setting goals, building a career by stacking interests and skills, and the importance of seeking out personal challenges to keep growing. The students loved learning how these lessons apply to everyday life—and meeting Millie was the highlight of the week!

7th and 8th grade science students recently completed an Aluminum Foil Boat Challenge where they designed boats capable of holding 50 pennies without sinking! During the lab, students explored important science concepts including buoyancy, density, gravity, mass, forces, and weight distribution while using the engineering design process to test and improve their creations. Great hands-on learning and problem-solving by our future engineers and scientists!
