Tomorrow is June 1st and we know your summer has just began! We just wanted to send this out one more time as it’s so important!

Research shows that kids that read 5-6 books in the summer can prevent the decline referred to as summer slide. Mrs. Lindquist sent home a packet of available reading programs to keep your kids at their current level. If you don’t have the packet - you can also visit any St. Charles County library to inquire about their summer reading program! We know you have a lot of fun things planned for summer but please add in some reading occasionally. It will greatly benefit them! 📚

This year we expanded our positive recognition with blue tickets to include red tickets for teacher who are showing the BIG 3. Our teachers work hard and getting these red tickets has been a great way for staff and students to recognize their teachers. We had lots of donations from the community, staff and our amazing PTO. We ended up with 32 raffle baskets that staff could add their red tickets to in order to win the prize. Here are our lucky winners. Congratulations to all the winners!

Congrats to the 2026 St. Charles High graduates that returned to Coverdell for their clap out! We’re so proud of these former students! 🎓
