We would like to thank our teachers and faculty for caring for our students during today's scary weather. We would especially like to call out Mr. Charlie Kinnison, our Fine Arts Director.
When tornado sirens went off, some of our students were understandably nervous, and a bit scared.
The music room is the designated "safe space" for PreK through 3rd grade. Mr. K helped organize everyone where they needed to go. Once the immediate threat was gone, everyone "stayed put" for a short while, just to be safe.
Mr. K went into full-throttle Music Man mode. He had everyone smiling and singing within minutes. A true professional all of the time!
Another beautiful moment during a completely unusual day, while the younger students were singing, the entire high school was in their hallway praying the Holy Rosary together.
It was a beautiful moment in the midst of the chaos and fears to witness high school students going to Our Lady.
There is just no place like JPII school. We are blessed to see many of these moments there. Prayers for everyone's safety and protection tonight.
