We would like to thank our teachers and faculty for caring for our students during today's scary weather. We would especially like to call out Mr. Charlie Kinnison, our Fine Arts Director.
When tornado sirens went off, some of our students were understandably nervous, and a bit scared.
The music room is the designated "safe space" for PreK through 3rd grade. Mr. K helped organize everyone where they needed to go. Once the immediate threat was gone, everyone "stayed put" for a short while, just to be safe.
Mr. K went into full-throttle Music Man mode. He had everyone smiling and singing within minutes. A true professional all of the time!
Another beautiful moment during a completely unusual day, while the younger students were singing, the entire high school was in their hallway praying the Holy Rosary together.
It was a beautiful moment in the midst of the chaos and fears to witness high school students going to Our Lady.
There is just no place like JPII school. We are blessed to see many of these moments there. Prayers for everyone's safety and protection tonight.

At JPII, students have the privilege of engaging with some of the most esteemed literary works in history. A notable highlight of the 4th-grade curriculum is the Narnia Day celebration, where students participate in a Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe-themed event, complete with traditional Turkish delight. We extend our gratitude to Mrs. Schmitz and Mrs. Brown for their efforts in organizing this special occasion.

JPII congratulates the eighth grade students who were newly confirmed at the Cathedral, as well as those who were Confirmed within their own parishes.
Congratulations on this major milestone! You are now sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit and are strengthened for service to the Body of Christ. We pray for you as you walk beside Jesus Christ-- may you always seek His strength, perseverance, and guidance. You are the future of the Church!

Our circus themed Variety Show was a smashing success this year. Students dazzled the audience with acts of magic, ballet, acrobatics, music, and even a comedy show.

Although spring is arriving fast, JPII students still enjoyed the opportunity to make winter memories ice-skating on President's Day at Creve Coeur Ice Arena.

Strengthening family bonds are at the heart of JPII's mission. Earlier this month we honored the special bond between father and daughter, through which young ladies learn the protective and caring love of our Father in Heaven at our annual Father-Daughter Dance.

Newman recognition renewed. We are proud to announced that the Newman Guide has renewed its recognition of JPII as "an exemplar of faithful Catholic education." The Newman Guide has a trusted reputation for vigorously vetting the orthodoxy of Catholic institutions of education. We are thrilled that our school is recognized as one of the top twenty-eight schools nationwide by this distinguished organization.
