Congé Reunion was a joyful homecoming for Academy alumni last Saturday! Fr. David Sulwalsk, SJ celebrated Mass in the Shrine of St. Philippine Duchesne. Head of School Tim Horner gave a brief school report, followed by recognition of honor classes 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, and 1976.
Mary Kay Brady '63 received the St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Award and was surrounded by family and her dear Academy friends. Mary Kay deeply values her Sacred Heart friendships and organizes a quarterly alum luncheon to keep all connected. In addition, through her contact with alums and ASH she volunteers to assist with donations and fundraising, fostering community and giving with her love and sense of humor.
Following the program, guests mingled at the reception, sharing memories and celebrating their Sacred Heart spirit.
We are grateful to members of the Alumni Coordinating Council who provided food and beverages. Special thanks to Sharon Mitsler, Director of Alumni and Parents, along with alum volunteers who helped plan and host this event. It is always wonderful to reconnect with Academy alums!

Today, on the Feast of the Sacred Heart, we celebrate the boundless love of God revealed in the Heart of Jesus.
The Network of Sacred Heart Schools shared this message:
For the Sacred Heart community, we renew our gratitude for the charism entrusted to Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat and carried forward through generations of Religious of the Sacred Heart, educators, students, trustees, and friends. Rooted in the Heart of Jesus, may we continue to educate, lead, and serve with courage, compassion, and hope, revealing God's love in a world that longs for healing and communion.
Let Us Pray:
Loving God, open our hearts to Your presence.
Teach us to see with compassion, to listen with reverence, and to act with courage.
May the Heart of Jesus shape our hearts,
that we may be instruments of communion, healing, and hope.
As we celebrate this Feast of the Sacred Heart,
renew in us the spirit of Saint Madeleine Sophie,
deepen our commitment to the mission we share,
and help us reveal Your love in all we do.
Amen
