Vet Assisting Boot Camp hits a little different 😂🐾🦴

Veterinary Assisting Students did rotations to put their Anatomy and Physiology knowledge to work. These quick bursts of practical learning labs help make terminology stick and memorization a bit more fun!

🐾 THE DOG WHO STARTED IT ALL to wrap up our

Behind every Groomer, Dog Trainer, Veterinary Assistant, and pet professional is a story.

And more often than not, that story has four legs. ❤️

For National Dog Day, we asked our students and team to share a photo of the dog who inspired them to work with animals.

The dog who made them fall in love with this work.
The dog who taught them patience, compassion, or simply how much a dog can mean to a person.
The dog who, in some way, started it all.

These are some of those dogs.

Some are still by their people's side. Some are waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. And some may never know just how much they changed the course of a life.

But every one of them left a paw print. 🐾

Puppy Day!

It’s always a good day when you have puppies, but yesterday was even better because Training Students were able to help socialize AND snuggle them.

These cuties from Gateway Pet Guardians got to experience different humans, textures, and sounds, all while building their confidence!

Students learn about puppy socialization, puppy learning periods, growth and development and so much more!

And we snuck in a little puppy yoga 🧘‍♂️🧘🏼‍♀️
