Hardin is saddened to hear about the passing of our former secretary (and current SCHS secretary) Dani Uskiwich. In the time Dani was at Hardin, she dedicated herself to forming relationships with students, parents, and staff. She was a kind face who greeted our visitors, and worked with students on their attendance. She was a huge St. Louis Blues fan, and was in the process of planning her wedding. She was far too young to leave this Earth. Please keep her family in your thoughts.

Another amazing 8th grade dance tonight! Our students looked amazing 🤩 and had a great time dancing the night away 💃🕺. It’s hard to believe they will leave our lair (🐅🐅🐅) and head off to their respective high schools in 5 short days 🥺
This class has been really outstanding and we will miss them!

A HUGE THANK YOU to St. Charles City Fire Fighter Community Outreach for their $500 donation to the Great Tiger Escape to help our students who may not have had the funds to attend. Because of their generosity, we were able to ensure every single student was able to attend!

And they’re off! We sent about 20 groups out on various field trips for our first Great Tiger Escape! Students had the opportunity to sign up for the field trips to allow them to explore areas of St. Charles, St. Louis, Missouri, and even Illinois. I will be compiling a slide show of photos which will be shared so our families can see the fun that is happening.

This week, a select group of 7th graders went on a field trip to the St Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum. This was an enriching experience for students where they got to see artifacts, photos, and testimonies from survivors of the Holocaust who immigrated to St Louis after the war. Students also got to hear from a descendent of 2 survivors who shared the story of her grandparents during the war. Students had a great time learning new things about the Holocaust in such a personal and impactful way.
