A huge congratulations to Rebecca McGuire on becoming the 2026 MSHSAA Class 5 Girls Pole Vault State Champion!

Rebecca cleared 12' 3½" (3.75m) to capture the state title for Francis Howell North!

Also, a huge congratulations goes out to Jillian Hoelting on earning a 3rd Place finish in the Class 5 Girls Long Jump at the 2026 MSHSAA State Track & Field Championships!

Jillian soared to a jump of 18' 6" (5.64m) to secure a spot on the state podium and bring home a state medal for the Knights.
Great Job, Ladies!!

Girls Soccer Earns Major GAC South Honors

The Francis Howell North Girls Soccer program had an outstanding season, highlighted by several prestigious GAC South recognitions.

Congratulations to Head Coach Matt Havermale, who was selected as the GAC South Coach of the Year for his leadership and dedication throughout the season.

A special congratulations goes to senior Amari Jones, who was named the team's GAC Sportsmanship Award recipient. Amari's positive attitude, leadership, and commitment to sportsmanship made a lasting impact on the program.

We also recognize Claire Brightwell for earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors. Claire had an excellent season and is very deserving of this recognition.

Earning 1st Team All-Conference honors were:

Maggie Neu – Goalkeeper
Olivia Krazl – Center Back
Melanie Kistner – Right Back

Finally, a huge congratulations to senior Morgan Smith on being named the GAC South Player of the Year. This honor reflects years of hard work, dedication, and excellence on the soccer field. Morgan's accomplishments have been instrumental to the success of the Knights program.

Congratulations to Coach Havermale and all of our award winners on an outstanding season. Your hard work, commitment, and representation of Francis Howell North have made the entire Knight community proud.

Francis Howell North doubles team finish third in Class 3 state tournament Caleb Couch and Jace Jameson became the first doubles team in the 40-year history of Francis Howell North to earn a state medal.

Our Francis Howell North doubles team, made up of senior Caleb Couch and junior Jace Jameson, has finished in 3rd place at the MSHSAA state tournament in Springfield, MO. Please congratulate them the next time you see them.

Our students are incredibly talented, and the countless hours they and Ms. Oncken have spent rehearsing and preparing is evident in every single song! If you aren’t here tonight, get here tomorrow night. You will not be disappointed.

We loved celebrating our wonderful FHN teachers this week! Thank you to KOE, Student Council, the Coffee Shop Team, and PTO for partnering with the admin team to recognize them! It was a week full of treats, gifts, and fun. We hope our teachers feel as appreciated as they are!
