Say hello to our new interns! These photos were taken at our intern handgun and fi****ms safety training class, each intern is required to take this intro class. The class covers basic fi****ms safety allowing us to make sure everyone is able to act safely on gun ranges, as well as around fi****ms. Thanks to our instructor Elizabeth Sparks for teaching this class. The interns had lots of fun and got to shoot an array of different handguns at the end of the class.

Congratulations to our graduating intern class Spring of 2026.🎉💙This group of students are incredibly hard working and inspirational, Vista cannot wait to see where they all go with their careers. These individuals have completed Vistas required 100 hours of intern work, they participated and assisted in a plethora of different law enforcement training classes. Vista Law Enforcement Training and Consulting LLC would not be what it is today without the intern program. Thank you for all you do, you will all be greatly missed.

Last day out on the driving course for Vistas 40-hour instructor EVOC training. Today’s driving included a timed course, a precision course, and a backwards driving course. Tomorrow the attendees will be in classroom doing presentations over an EVOC topic of their choice. Thanks to all the departments that came out to attend these classes, as well as Vistas EVOC instructors and Vistas interns. Congratulations to the new EVOC instructors, good job on all your hard work!

Today marks the start of Vistas 40-hour EVOC Instructor Training Program. This program is Monday-Friday. Attendees begin each day in a classroom learning how to safely execute different driving maneuvers, then attendees bring their new skills onto a course. This is the instructor training program, attendees are trained so they can train other officers. At the end of the week each attendee will present a PowerPoint that covers a topic relating to EVOC. This is a POST certified class, please visit Vistas website to sign up for the next class!
