What a magical night! We are still smiling thinking about all the dancing, laughter, and adorable outfits from our first annual Peewee Prom last Friday night!
From the "red (black) carpet" arrivals to the final YMCA dance-off, our little stars truly shone bright. It was such a joy to see our students celebrating friendship and having a blast in their fancy attire!
We look forward to doing this again next year!

We had an amazing time with Santa yesterday, as he visited all of our classrooms! He sang songs and played trains with our friends, passed out treats, and of course, listened to Christmas wishes. He also gave high fives, group hugs, and many, many smiles. ♥️ Our buidling collected over $200 to donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital!🎅🏻

We have taken full advantage of the need to have indoor recess due to colder temps this last week! Our students have loved playing in the multipurpose room (the “Big Room”) and have enjoyed trying out some of our recently purchased equipment.
The new climbing wall, KODO magnetic wall, and several other new gross motor items were introduced to be sure that we have plenty of ways for our kiddos to move ther bodies and burn off energy when we can’t make it outside!
Some teachers choose to occasionally do indoor recess in their classrooms as well, allowing the children opportunities to play with things they might not otherwise get to explore. We love playing with our students, no matter the weather!

Reminder: Please make sure that your children are dressed for the weather when coming to school. Coats, gloves, hats, and taller socks are recommended. Please let our school office or Educational Support Counselor know if your family needs support in securing these items.
The cold settled in, and it’s the right moment to check FHSD’s cold weather guidelines. 🥶 Please encourage students to bring coats, hats and gloves to stay ready for the day. bit.ly/FHSDweatherguidelines
