STAND STRONG ASSEMBLY — SEPTEMBER

We had a fantastic time celebrating what it means to “Stand Strong” at our September assembly. Our Student Council led the school in reciting our Stand Strong Pledge, singing our school song, and, of course, getting everyone up and dancing!

🏆 We also celebrated some pretty amazing Eagles! Mr. Cornwall presented “Stand Strong”awards to students from each class who were selected by their teachers for demonstrating what it means to stand strong every day. We also recognized one outstanding student from each grade as our “Top Eagle.”

And the celebrations didn’t stop with our students! We recognized members of our amazing faculty and staff. Congratulations, also, to Mrs. Blaisdell’s, Mrs. Mason’s, and Miss Coffman’s classes for being selected by their specialty teachers as our “Nests of the Month.”

We are so proud of the way our Eagles continue to stand strong, make good choices, show kindness, and look out for one another. Way to go, Art City! 🦅💙

Attendance Matters! Our whole school is celebrating the importance of showing up and making every school day count. Each month, we’ll randomly select a day for a fun activity or surprise as part of our Attendance Matters Award.

For September, students were treated to a movie during lunchtime. Lights were turned low in the lunchroom and the show was projected on the big screen, making for a fun lunch experience.

Art City Eagles, keep showing up, keep learning, and remember: Attendance Matters! 📚💙🦅
