A new school year is here and with it a new year of library reading challenges! Read along with us from home as we explore different genres and types of books.

The library challenge for August/September is to read a friend's recommendation. As your friend from the SJHS library, I recommend these wonderful books for you! Read them on your own, read to your little kids, or recommend a book to your student. However or whatever you decide to read, pick up a book and get started!

Join us on Monday, August 17th from 3-5 pm for our Back to School Night Open House. Teachers will be available in their classrooms to meet parents and students.

Our counselors will be hosting a "Jr. High 101" informational session to help new students learn about the jr. high and how they can be successful as students. These sessions will be held in the cafetorium at the following times:

3:00pm and 4:00 pm (in English)

3:30 pm (en español)
