Meet Golden Falcon!

He is the superhero created by our Reading Marathon winning team. Way to go Red Team! (2nd, 4th, and 7th grades)

Once upon a time, there was a school that had a superhero. But, you couldn’t find him in a high-tech lab or a radioactive wasteland. He was found in the quiet aisles of a school library.

He loved books but he had a giant secret. When children opened their books and started to read, he gained superpowers. The more children read, the faster he became. One week, the kids at Reagan Academy read so many hours that he gained super speed. When a child finished a whole chapter, he would transform. With a bright flash of light, he became Golden Falcon!

He wore a shiny gold suit and had a shiny cape that gleamed in the sun. Golden Falcon flew high in the sky to protect the city. Thanks to all the incredible readers at Reagan Academy, he could fly as fast as a jet.

Golden Falcon has a message for all the students at Reagan Academy. “Thank you readers. You are the real heroes. Keep on reading!”
