SCA would like to give a special shout out to our TK kids (Teacher Kids) who so often spend so much of their summers working in the rooms with their teacher mamas! They have been such a HUGE help to us this summer and especially today as we organized all of the supplies that were brought at orientation. It isn’t just the summertime, but so much of their afternoons in the school year that are spent here at school. We love you, TKs!

Tomorrow is our Meet the Teacher & Orientation day, but here is a sneak peek to the wonderful ladies the Lord has hand picked for the upcoming year. We have been praying and preparing for this year and are excited for what the Lord is doing in our staff and our school! See you Monday, August 10!

Last day = BEST DAY! Staff PD week is complete! We ended our week with an incredible message the Lord gave to our new teacher Mrs. Rhonda Rosenblum. She’s new to SCA, but many of us know her well and have taught with her in the past, so we are thrilled she has come “home” with us! (Be watching for more staff announcements this weekend!) Teachers are putting the final touches on their rooms, and we are ready for orientation on Monday! Here is a sneak peak of the rooms so far!

PD day 4, but still one more to go! Today Mrs. Burton blessed our staff with our morning devotion by giving an encouraging word from the Lord. Teachers spent the morning collaborating on setting up our grading system (BIG UPDATE COMING about that) and then worked in our rooms. Time is ticking down and we are putting the final touches on our rooms and getting things ready for orientation Monday!!!
Also we would like to give a special thanks to Bryan Tara Smith for our SWEET surprise with a scrumptiously delicious cake to welcome us back to school! It was AMAZING!!

Staff PD day 3 complete!! Mrs. Marlow started our day and gave a powerful testimony and encouragement from the Lord for staff devotion. Thank you Kimberly Marlow! Those who needed to be CPR certified, or update their certifications, were able to do this courtesy of Capt. Robinson of Springville Fire Dept. Our staff is preparing the final touches for an incredible school year and we cannot wait to see our students!!

Staff PD day 2 included our morning devotion from Mrs. Barrett, and Springville Police provided safety training equipping our staff to protect our students in the event of an emergency. Thank you, to the law enforcement officers who serve to protect us daily in our community, & for caring to come provide training for our staff.
